When the husband-and-wife team and co-CEOs  Guy and Stephanie Coffey founded the first Frenchies Modern Nail Care in Littleton, Colorado in 2014, their mission was to revolutionize the nail care industry for not only guests and nail specialists, but also for franchise owners. Luckily, the duo certainly weren’t strangers to the franchising industry. By leveraging their ownership experience as multi-unit owners of Anytime Fitness, as well as Stephanie Coffey’s expertise gained as President of Waxing the City, the couple had all the expertise they needed to create a winning franchise opportunity within the highly fragmented nail care industry. Today, Frenchies has grown to include 23 locations across the country and is now aiming to sell an additional 10 units by the end of 2023.

Stephanie—along with her husband and co-founder, Guy—gave our company life. Naturally, she’s gaga about Frenchies, and she shouts it from the [Colorado] mountaintops to help franchisees across the U.S. discover their passion—and a pretty smart business opportunity—by owning a Frenchies studio of their own. Beyond revolutionizing nail care, Stephanie gets jazzed up about summertime shenanigans at the family cabin, her two sons’ and hubby’s hockey games, and lazy Sunday brunches on the deck with friends and family.

If Stephanie were a nail polish, she’d be:

If we need it done, Guy is on it. Six years ago, he jumped into the nail industry after a 20-year career in fitness—and his zest for helping people feel and look good has never been stronger. When he and co-founder Stephanie (his better half) launched Frenchies, it was more than a business move, it was a chance to change an industry and “improve a lot of people’s lives.” Guy is a protector of profits and nets—he’s been a hockey goalie since he was four years old and enjoys tossing around the puck on the daily with his two sons.

If Guy were a nail polish, he’d be:

Lincoln Park After Dark (“Lincoln Park is in Chicago, and red tone is in the Chicago Blackhawks team colors. Sometimes I get this color painted on my left big toe.”)

Scot Cannon
Head Honcho of Field Operations

Scot knows that shaking up an industry—especially one as big as the nail industry—is no easy feat. But he’s game—no, he’s PUMPED—to be part of the Frenchies nail care revolution. If you’re a franchisee, he’s got your back. He pulls from years of business development experience to make sure our franchisees have everything they need to get their studios up, running and in full stride. A proud New Orleanian (did we say that right?), Scot lives and breathes Saints football (“Who Dat?!”). He’s also his athletic kids’ biggest fan—he’s a sideline staple as coach or lead cheerleader.

Your brand is everything. That’s Stacy’s mantra, and she’s stickin’ to it. She’s an expert at helping Frenchies share our story in the marketplace, and she makes sure we live our brand consistently in everything we do. When she’s not engulfed in brand messaging and marketing strategy, she fills her time hanging with her kids (“they’re super cool people!”), enjoying cocktails with friends, and being walked by her two big-as-bears, but cuddly-as-teddy-bears Bernese Mountain dogs.
